In 2023 the Joint Annual Meeting of the German Society for Matrix Biology and the Italian Society for the Connective Tissue will be held in Münster from September 26th-29th. Münster is a lively student city historically known for the signing of the Westphalian piece treaty of the 30 year war in 1648. Not far from the meeting venue you will find the beautiful Aasee lake and the historic city center with its typical achitecture of the Westphalian Baroque period.

We are looking forward to an excellent conference program with leading international experts working to share and discuss latest advances in the fields of matrix biology.

We would like to especially promote the research of young scientists.

Our program offers ample opportunity for informal discussions and networking. Guided poster tours as well as poster prizes.

We thank the following sponsors for supporting the meeting:

The organization team have managed to get hold of reasonable priced accomodations for your researchers to stay in Münster during the DGMB meeting from 27.-29. September 2023 (including a night before for participation in the Pre-meeting for Junior Researchers). There are two options: the Jugendgästehaus and the Canisiushaus. More information is available on the attached flyer Accomodations for young scientists for the DGMB meeting. However, the number of rooms are limited and reservation can only be hold till August 19th. Therefore, we ask the young researchers to send a request for one of the options (including the period of stay, with/without breakfast or half-board, request for a double room with a room mate) to Prof. Johannes Eble (eblej@uni-muenster.de). Depending on the time of your incoming request (first come, first serve) and if you already signed up together with a room mate for a double room (easier to organize for us), we’ll decide by August 20th on your request, and will let you know a day later, whether your request was considered positively.
